We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator in the Commercial Construction industry. Must have general knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff Estimating Software.
Project Management will be included with your winning bids.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with our internal team, customers and vendors. This role is critical in ensuring accurate project estimates and cost management for our construction projects. The Senior Estimator will play a key role in supporting our mission of delivering high-quality construction services.
*This role requires most workdays to be spent in the office or remote with minimal time on job sites.
As Estimator, you will:
- Review bid invitations, architectural drawings, specifications and client requirements to fully understand the scope of work
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates and bid packages
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
- Maintain and update estimating databases, price lists and material costs regularly
- Develop strategies to increase success during the bidding process
- Track awarded contracts and assist with project preplanning
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
- 2+ years of meticulous attention to detail
- PlanSwift software experience, a plus
- Background check and drug test
- Strong prioritization, computer and self-management skills
- Bilingualism (Spanish), a plus
